If you have a love for soccer and want to get paid for participating, then becoming a referee is just for you! Referees are needed during the regular season and for the year-end tournament. All referees receive training from certified SAY Referee Trainers.

Referee Training
All Referees MUST attend referee training. Training sessions will be held in the meeting room at the Bank of Luxemburg in Casco.

New Referees : Saturday, April 14: 9 AM – 4:00PM)
Referees with 1 year experience: Sunday, April 15: 9 AM – 4:00PM
Referees with 2 or more years experience: Saturday, April 14 OR Sunday, April 15, 1- 4pm.

All referees are provided with a referee jersey (returned at the end of the season) and a whistle (yours to keep). All applicants must be 14 prior to July 31, 2012 to be a referee this coming season. You will also be required to provide your Social Security number in order to receive your pay. You will be placed in your own community unless circumstances arise that a referee is needed elsewhere for a game. Please note that KCYSA is NOT your employer. You work as an Independent Contractor for KCYSA.
